The 4Cs of Diamonds

The quality and value of a diamond are determined by four key characteristics, commonly known as the 4Cs

Cut

Cut is the most crucial factor influencing a diamond’s brilliance. It refers to how well the diamond is proportioned and how its facets interact with light. An expertly cut diamond will sparkle with unmatched brilliance and fire. Common cuts include Round, Princess, Cushion, Oval, Emerald, and more.

Color

Diamond color is graded from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown). Colorless diamonds are rare and highly prized. Subtle differences in color can significantly affect a diamond's value and appearance.

Clarity

Clarity measures the presence of internal or external imperfections, known as inclusions and blemishes. Diamonds are graded from Flawless (FL) to Included (I). The fewer the inclusions, the more valuable and brilliant the diamond.

Carat

Carat refers to the weight of the diamond. One carat is equivalent to 0.2 grams. Larger diamonds are rarer and, therefore, more valuable. However, carat weight alone does not determine a diamond's beauty—it is best assessed alongside the other Cs.

Ring Size Guide

Find Your Perfect Ring Size

A comfortable fit should slide over the knuckle with gentle resistance and sit securely without feeling tight. For the most accurate result, measure more than once and compare your measurements.

Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring

  1. Select a ring that fits the intended finger well.
  2. Measure the inside diameter straight across the centre in millimetres.
  3. Share the measurement with our team so we can confirm the closest size.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger

  1. Wrap a thin strip of paper or non-stretch string around the base of the finger.
  2. Mark where the ends meet without pulling too tightly.
  3. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. This is the finger circumference.

Helpful Sizing Tips

  • Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are usually at their natural size.
  • Avoid measuring when your hands are unusually cold or warm.
  • For wider bands, consider a slightly larger size for comfort.
  • If you fall between sizes, choose the larger size.
  • Measure the exact finger on which you plan to wear the ring.
